reddoss
Got to Lucksall on Monday and was the last to leave yesterday before it shut for the winter. Great imaging session on Monday with about 5 hours of subs. Only got an hour of data on Tuesday as the mist kept drifting in and out as it does there sometimes. Between minus 6 to 8 degrees on both nights! Controlled every thing inside the tent which had two fan heaters going full blast.
Mark at Beaufort
You did well to brave the last few nights. I was observing into the early hours on Tuesday night and it was cold. If I knew you were at Lucksall I would have come over during the day to say hello.
barkis
Looks like you had the site to yourself Hope your captures turn into some cracker of an image or two. At least you kept the frost at bay controlling the drive from the tent. You're a brave chap .

It looks like you had the place to yourself, no light pollution to worry about from close neighbours? But you deserve a medal doing observation in a tent at the campsite, the last few nights have been well below Sub Zeo ?. Your very dedicated or crazy for your hobby , but well done it makes the rest of us look like lightweights ?
