Synscan handset voltage.

Hi,

  I have an EQ6 Pro mount and the handset can be used on it's own in stand alone mode. There's a socket in the bottom which appears to be the same as the one on the mount itself. Does anyone know what voltage is required to use it in stand alone mode. I'm guessing it's 12v, the same as the mount. Any help would be much appreciated as I don't want to fry it.

12 volts. Or, more correctly.the voltage can range from 7.5v - 12v  100mA min for firmware updating.

Thanks Peter, I assumed it would be 12v but I didn't dare risk finding out the hard way.
