SGL Podcast

I was just thinking.... Have the SGL admins / owners ever thought of starting a Stargazers lounge podcast? 

I listen to a LOT of podcasts on various subjects including astronomy but as of yet I haven't came across one run by hobbyists & enthusiasts. 

I was thinking along the lines of a monthly podcast featuring one or two subjects per month as well as interaction with the forum such as answering questions asked on the forum or continuing popular discussions started on the forum.

There could be telescope reviews as well as other equipment like radio astronomy builds or spectroscopy setups ect ....

There would be no end of subjects to talk about which would provide a lifetime of podcast content and that's even before thinking of having the odd on location casts at star parties and events as well as interviews with professionals or even forum members.

In my eyes the forum provides a fantastic platform on which to base a potentially popular podcast.

Or maybe it's already been done & I just haven't found it yet?

Awesome Astronomy podcast is good. I find it amusing and educational while I am commuting.
