Flaming Star Nebula DSLR and 72 ED-R

Its been rubbish weather here for a couple of weeks. I got 8 X 6 min subs of IC 405 last night. Iso 1600 and UHC filter. There is a bit of coma there that I hope I can get rid of with spacing adjustments and although the sky was very 'washy' at least I got something.

I also attach an image from last week that is quite poor really but shows ic 405 in relation to ic 410 and the fly and spider etc. Taken with my 70-300 zoom at 150mm. 50% of 20  5 min subs used but even discarding the worst, it still wants... Would like to return to the widefield in better conditions...

And now for the really bad one!

Good images, I actually like the bad one better it has an airiness about it and a better sense of scale.

Both nice images, the second one has v good colour on the stars.
