New Astromi.ch MBox USB Weather Station

The Astromi.ch MBox USB Weather Station uses a Bosch Sensortec BME280 Sensor and Atmel ATmega328P microprocessor to deliver highly accurate barometric pressure, temperature, humidity and dew point info.  

It's compact size (fits in the palm of your hand) makes it suitable for mobile astronomy as well as stationary setups inside an observatory.

i've got one of these to link into my 10Micron mount and as a direct replacement for Per's Stickstation. It loads easily, finds a spare com port and works away on the background providing a visual time graph presenting the info FLO have already mentioned.  In addition to being compatible with Per's ASCOM driver to provide refraction information, this box can be set to write Boltwood files which are compatible with Boltwood weather stations and some telescope control software packages. The instructions talk about possibly overwriting of serial drivers, but i had no such problems using Win7Pro. The best form of kit, small, unobstrusive and just works so that you forget its there

A new upgraded Astromi.ch MGBox Meteostation has been released that delivers the same highly accurate barometric pressure, temperature, humidity and dew point info but adds positional information via onboard GPS.

It also features a RJ10 port so can be connected directly to a 10-Micron mount - no need for a laptop.
