Well, since I was down in the west coast of France I could see just about nothing at all! I couldn't get the scope out as it was threatening to rain. But I held up my sheet of solar filter and could see...absolutely nowt but the sun.

However, what was good was that I showed the sun to the kids around us through the filter and they all loved it! :D
