Telescope bag/carry case

Hi All , ive been searching and searching for a bag or carry case for my scope and mount . I was in sports direct and came along this. Its ideal I managed to store my scope (skywatcher 130) and its mount with plenty of room for any items with plenty room to spare.

Thanks. I might check it out over here in Hull and see if they are the same price too. What's the max length it could hold approximately inside the bag please, I can't see any sizes on the case?

Found it on their website. Total length is 1.3m. Going to see if I can get one in store tomorrow. If not I might order it online. Thanks for the heads up.

Can you fit a tripod in it aswell?

Large wheeled Cricket bags are another possible option.

But I use the very strong robust plastic boxes from the Really Useful storage box company (available from B & Q). They have sizes that will hold OEM telescope foam packaging.

Yes plenty of space for tripod and mount. Also plenty of space for eyepieces etc and a extra pouch on the front for any handsets etc. it also has a strap inside to secure your scope and tripod/mount.

how do you store and tronsport your scope?i am looking for bag/case for star discovery 150p bag? at least bag for ota.. do you have something to prefere??

In a similar vein I posted recently that you can also buy very reasonably priced bags to cover golf bags for travelling and these look a really useful size too.  Check out ebay.

a bit pricey, but I think it's great, really well made, padded, well sealed: I've had it for just under 18 months and it still looks like new (and yes, it is well used - been hailed on, and frosted - and is kept in the garage)

I'm impressed they're made in Italy.  Looks like a really nice case.  Too bad they're not sold here in the states.

Tamrac used to make all their bags in the US.  Now they only make a few of their "classics" from 20+ years ago here, and they're hard to find in brick and mortar stores.  Come to think of it, they may just be clearing out new old stock.

The ski industry is another sector that makes big bags for long objects.

Cant say I have seen many 8" dia fly rods while walking alone got canals recently.

I am not a golfer so I dont know what to look inside of bag. I am watching for a bag where i can carry and store my star discovery 150p. Does someone have picture with scope in golf bag? is every golf bag suitable or?? Is telescope satisfyingly guarded in it or it is just a bag for carrying it?
