Heart and Soul - Now in colour (130pds + Star71)

Recommended Posts

Earlier this week I was fortunate enough to get some clear sky where I could work on adding some OIII to the Heart and Soul project I did a couple of years ago with the 130pds.

This year all the Star71 took was just three panels of OIII to cover the same area (with the 130 it took 10 panels), however the panel to the left was a little short (only 50min collected in OIII) but I think I've done enough work to make it useable.

So, i've put it all through registar and photoshop - and here is what I got:

Thanks for looking :)

Flippin heck, 10 panels and 3 panels, what a painstaking job that must have been.  Lovely result.

Thanks all :)

It took a fair amount of fiddling to get the OIII background sorted, but that was helped massively by one or two tips I picked up at SGL XII (ie: using the calibrate function in registar).

Bit of a neon palette for me too, but you captured some lovely detail!

Wow! Great mosaic . . . sharp and tight . . . just about squeezed all in :hello2:

I'm latterly for dark and moody as you know, so I'll go and grab my sun glasses.

Seriously, great image.

Thanks Barry :) I tried dark n' moody but in the end I lost patience and just went with the full-on cannistra colour. Actually, before posing I did desaturate it slightly - but not too much otherwise it began to look a bit washed-out.
