SYNSCAN HANDSET HOLDER UPGRADE

I was quite impressed with the Synscan Handset Holder upgrade by Astro Engineering. Made of metal with the advantage of a one hand operation which is very convenient. Could also be modified for pier instead of tripod. As the price was reasonable I thought I would order one Unfortunately, Astro are'nt accepting online orders for it, and referred me to Pulsar Optical. So I did not bother.

I didn't have any issues with the original to be honest.  It attaches to my pier quite securely with a cable tie.

Nice mod. I just added extra Velcro stuck to the leg of my mount and the back of the holder to stop the holder moving about. Seems to work fine.
