whats this screw for on eyepiece?

Hi all just purchased an illuminated cross hair eyepiece,it has two adjusting  screws for thé crosshair,which i understand,and a third screw With a screw driver head which is locked off,Amy ideas what that one is for cheers

No idea. But maybe it was used in the production process to fix 2 separate parts together? I could imaging that an illuminated crosshair eyepice is not constructed in the same way as other eyepieces.

Thanks mine is a university optics but thé baader seems to have similar setup,If anyone has one of those cheers
