Moon after first quarter in October 2016

These are two images of the moon right after first quarter in October. These are first light for the new ASI290MC. Processed using AS!2 and a little PS.

I tried aligning these in PS but did not succeed. I still need to process the raw but the sharpened tiffs from AS came out quite well, I think. If would be most grateful if you have any comments to share :-)

I've never used PS for mosaics so can't help there , but took the liberty of joining them up for you with i-Merge ...

Microsoft ICE (free - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52459) does a good job of stitching mosaics together too
