Hi from New York state, USA:

Just joined this forum today.  Looks very interesting.

I specialize in writing advanced scientific programs in PHP to solve various numerical problems encountered in such things as astrophysics, astronomy, probability and statistics among other things.

I was hoping to find at least a few people with similar interests who are also into astronomy and related PHP programming on the Internet.  Hopefully, they haven't all gone extinct.

Hello and welcome, anything to to do with astronomy we are all in the same

mindset, it's what we all have a passion for, I am sure there are members who

will be into your specialised subject, we will see?

Welcome. We both has astronomy and PHP in common. I code PHP web apps for a couple of  fortune 500 companies currently but they are not in genre of science or math though. Mainly I code automation scripts, data management, reports, API creation, and useful tools. I am self taught and try and keep things simple but have not had many task request I could not figure out a solution too. I would be interested in learning more about the PHP code you are into. Here is one of my personal latest coding projects http://bwat.info/ It is not really advertised but it is a web app template I created that I use as a base for most of my projects. I am just starting out in astrophotography and hope to find opportunities for automation with code and SDK usage for this hobby in the future.
