M31 with 1200D and 70-300 zoom at 200mm

30 X 4min, Darks and bias, F5.6, EQ5pro tracking mount. Processed in PS, Stacked in DSS.

Despite clipping the black point (Lab colour did that, I think) it still looks an acceptable image to me. I spent a lot of money on the zoom (its L glass) several years ago and hardly used it (intended for sports etc). Getting into astro photography has given this lens a new lease of life and it is proving a really good performer.
