NGC281

[Plastic chicken]

NGC281 (Pacman neb) taken with my Orion Optics 150mm f4 astrograph and modded 300d. 7x5 mins at iso 400. Cloud stopped play!!!! :x

It's an impressive little nebula that one, and you have captured it nicely. I think with some flats you will be able to get rid of those gradients and the resulting contrast improvement will make the little guy stand out even more

Hope you don't mind but I've had a go at flattening the field, plus a bit of tweaking in PS.....

I've never been able to see 'Pac-man',which is a shame as it does seem a very apt name.

One day I will try for an image but in the meantime I thought I'd get in a bit of practice with yours. I'm not very good with nebulae so basically I've just reduced the green,darkened the background and saturated 'Pac-man' a little.
