Hi,

This is my first attempt at ngc7000 - x 18 subs @45 seconds each iso 400

using wozs66 with 0.8 reducer / flattner and a canon 350d (modded)

Stacked in dss and processed in photoshop cs3.

Think i might have over done it in the processing ? any hints or tips ?

Thanks for looking

Well i think for the amount of exposure ,you have captured an amazing amount of detail Chris , i would be pleased with that result , but know what you mean we never are lol , just longer exposures i guess, this will give you far more scope then for processing without trying to overdo things ,

As Roger and Steve have said, you've got a great amount of detail in there for the exposure time. I can only reiterate what has been said, longer subs should help, and the darks, flats and bias frames if you can, these will help too.
