I'm trying to work out if the bright region between the sets of sun spots is growing. Can't remember it being that bright earlier this morning.

Think it was about 12.30, it was definitely getting brighter during the day.

Lovely shots Dave. I found that AR2585 presented an interesting challenge regarding the very bright plage area and the spots themselves. It was a tricky bit of post-processing!
