Cygnus wide field mosaic in Ha

Recommended Posts

Taken through a Samyang 135 at f2 with a 12nm Astronomik Ha filter and QHY9M, it's a four panel mosaic, each panel 12 x 300 sec.

Thanks for looking.

Did you say 300sec?  Wow--F2 is the deal no doubt.  I just realized hyperstar is f2 (1.9 actually).  Maybe that would allow reduced time.  With a f5.4 refractor I shoot 20-30min!

This is the area I'm thinking of imaging with my widefield rig after covering the NAN and Pelican.  I'm using a 135mm f2.5 lens and ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool camera - thinking of trying the 55mm f1.8 lens.

Thanks folks for the positive comments.  Gina you will find this a really rewarding area for a wide field image, so much going on.
