SW heritage 130p helical focuser

Hi all,

Now it's getting darker earlier i'm back again!

This time I have the heritage 130p dob. I love this scope so much, but, there is one thing I hate and that is the helical focuser.

Has anybody upgraded their focuser either with a better helical or if it's possible without screwing up the balance or mathematics attaching a rack and pinion or even threading a rack and pinion into the helical base? I guess this maybe the reason skywatcher used this type of focuser on the truss tube compared to rack and pinion on the solid tubes.
