Anyone from Leamington Spa?

Hi guys,

Is there anyone from Leamington Spa or surroundings able to recommend some active astronomy societies in the area and some safe dark places to go for a good sky?

I'm a member of knowle astronomical soc. We go to he Cotswolds twice a year and meet up occasionally when the skies are clear and dark near Henley on Arden etc. Another is Stratford upon Avon although I haven't attend a lecture there.
