Maxim Dark image size

Just taking some darks with Maxim and QSI683 and noticed that although both are binned 1X1 and file size is the same 16274kb when displayed on screen the light frame images are twice the size of the dark frames, is this normal ?

Will dig out some older images and see if it's always done this.

No something weird going on, just looked some previous images and the light and dark are all 32538kb ?

Not normal I agree.

My first thought was binning but you have said both are 1x1 so I am sorry nothing else comes to mind

Not sure what was going on there, shut it down and restarted and they're the same size now when displayed on screen at the same zoom level 

Glad I noticed before I took 16 X 20min darks
