We all do stuff like that so don't worry about it :icon_biggrin:

When I bought a used EQ6 mount a couple of years ago I thought that it wasn't working at all. I posted a question on here and was gently reminded that they are very quiet indeed :embarrassed:

I think you will love your scope and mount. It should be far better on doubles etc. and I use mine a lot. I suspect though that your 200mm newt would be as good if not better on planets and moon for visual and possibly imaging too with a Barlow or similar.  Great to have both :)

Would be interested in hearing and seeing your comparative views in due course.
