Is there a need to dither with a CCD? I don't take really long exposures, maybe 10 min max and I'm finding that I'm having to get rid of a lot of frames beacuse the guiding has been slightly off and I'm fairly sure it has something to do with my dithereing. It could be that I have my setings slightly off, sometimes the dithering times out and I'm not sure why, other times it works a treat.
