So excited to announce that Wakefield and District Astronomical Society (WADAS) will once again be welcoming Chris Lintott to give his presentation entitled "Bangs, crashes and planets: Astronomy in 2016" next Thursday 1st December, 7.30pm at Horbury Academy. Everyone welcome, members £3 and non-members £5 and entry includes a free raffle ticket. It will be fabulous to see as many people there as possible for this very special guest. Check the WADAS Facebook page or website for further details.

The seller has gone quiet, although he replied to my first message almost immediately, so your skies may well be safe (for now).......

I'll be a bit disappointed if he has let it go elsewhere though :(

Haha, yes you'll have first dibs Marc, if the seller comes back to me. I'm looking at an Atik 314L to upgrade my Atik 16IC-S. If I get it then I'll be letting my old Atik go. Think I mentioned it to you a few months ago. I'll keep you informed :)

I'm in after 6pm in the evenings this week when you want to pop across for that mount. You can always see how easy it is to take its "guts" out whilst you are here to save you taking it all away with you. Let me know.

Is that what Marc stands for? Mate's Astro Recycling Centre haha

I'm happy to see things going to good use :)

Finally got round to digging out and going through the absolutely massive stamp collection that me and my nan worked on together, and that she left me in her will. Didn't realise how much stuff she had! However, I've found this little set from 2007 amongst the pile of special edition folders. I'll be hanging onto this one. Wonder if there is anything else space related in there? Got a meeting with a stamp specialist in the morning who I'm hoping can give me some advice on what to do with this lot. Unfortunately, stamp collecting is a dying hobby and I don't think they will be worth anything like my nan paid for them over the years. Shame really. Just need to do something with them before they start getting spoiled.

Bottom of the screen in the mobile view is the following bar Mark. You need to check that open it up and see if the follow or unfollow is displayed. Also make sure the notification when new content is posted is checked/ticked.

Thanks Damian. They seem to be as before. I have actually received some notifications this morning but not for every post
