Hey all,

hope you had your fill of sol.

I found a more accurate measurement of the sun's photosphere, resized my scale Earths appropriately.

I had some problems with focus on the 30th, lots of cloud on the 31st and I tuned the scope in such a way that highlighted the massive filament but my full disk suffered. That filament is estimated to by 600 000km long, about 47 times the diameter of the Earth.

I really nailed it on August 1st. Clear skies, razor sharp focus and my frame count was pushed higher than ever, which gave me excellent data to work with using my usual processing software.

Hope you enjoy, cheers from Canada and clear skies!
