Saganite
The forecast is clear sky all night, although I just set up and of course a lot of cloud has appeared in the West, but I am optimistic. It should be good comparing these two. 16

Zummerzet_Leveller
First light for my new 2nd hand EdgeHD 800. A bit cobbled together as I wait for a focal reducer from Germany and a T-Adapter from China...

F15Rules
Lovely night here tonight😊.. First pic Orion right over our house, with Sirius lower left and Procyon upper left.. One of the darkest nights we've had for a while, with both good transparency and seeing. A nice two hour session which I'll report in tomorrow, the second shot below shows Trinity the Tak FS128 pointing at my last target tonight before packing up..Theta Aurigae, and a lovely split seen at c231x (9mm Morpheus and AP 2x Barlow).. RobertI
It was wonderfully dark and transparent here earlier too, but half an hour later when I stepped outside, the sky had somehow got brighter. Funny how things can change so quickly.

They are great rich field scopes aren't they Paz! May be its time to give it a place in your signature instruments list?

F15Rules
This was from Wednesday night (we've had lovely clear nights here for 3 nights this week!). Vixen SP102 on SP mount, Altaz mount, after just splitting Sirius and the Pup at 266x (Baader Zeiss BBHS prism, BGO 6mm with WO 1.6x nosepiece and moon filter) - a memorable night!👍😊 Dave

It's a pain, I have bortle 4 skies apart from that light shining right into my back yard! I usually set up on the lawn behind the shed, which blocks it, but it's too soggy after all the recent rain Edited February 25, 2022 by Daf1983
Stu
The LZOS 130mm f6 ready for action, the at the end of my session around 11.30pm. I used the test AZ100 with tracking motors last night and it worked beautifully. Nice to have stable m, centred views so you can concentrate on observing.

Very nice Stu, I hope you had a good session. I am pleased that the AZ motors are going to be good . It is 19 months now since I sold my NEQ6 to buy the AZ100 and I really do miss tracking a target.
Mark Nash
My set up last night - first outing for the homemade flat field generator (frames look good but I haven't done the processing yet to see how well it works in practice!).
markse68
2 clear nights in a row, no moon and no wind- what’s going on?!? Taking advantage of this unheard of break in the weather, while the newt is imaging NGC 2403, thought i’d bring the Tal 100rs up to the rooftop observatory and am trying in vain to split Sirius 🤣 It’s still cooling down so maybe later 🤞Lots of purple halo at the high powers needed… shame the moon’s not up 😉 Mark Edited February 26, 2022 by markse68
badhex
Testing out different EP combos in my new 50mm finder - turns out it's the 17.5mm Morpheus, unsurprisingly. It's nearly as big as the finder itself!
OK Apricot
As said, taking every advantage of the decent setup the past few nights. Trying a different location tonight and I'm quite happy - decent horizons and away from the worst of the LP. I'm out at the moment with the 200P and the Skymax 127 - mainly to try to get the AZ GTi performing well. Haven't even touched the Mak yet as the dob has me glued to it 😁
