All systems go for another night of imaging with the Star Adventurer - this time guided - on M45 ?

Looks like a crispy chilly promising night advancing. Hope it stayed for a while ?

Doesn't appear to show a picture in your post?

Was there one?

I've been doing my first imaging with a Star Adventurer - I'll be interested to see and hear how it went for you - please share a link to whatever part of the forum you post your results to - if you do ?

Wow, some proper serious set ups here ? but here is my little offering, its my 8" LX90 which has since been superseded

by a 10" LX90 but due to the very few nights of clear skies lately I haven’t had time to update a pic of this set up but as I am

in the midst of building a bespoke EQ wedge I will update my pic once up and running.

Clear skies all. ?

Lee.

Hi David,

If u mean picture of the set up, its up there. ( please do Scroll up, 6 pictures from yours)

The blueness of that sky makes me remember of KALAHARI desert stinging cold nights.

I can see the outlines of two fracs ( 60 or 71 mm) on Your SA.  SA does a good job with widefield optics. its a nice grab and go set up.

I scrolled up and saw your pictures - weird thing is I'm pretty sure I saw them earlier LOL! Don't know what I was talking about when I said I couldn't see them ? Sorry ?

Those pictures you posted are stunning - I'd love to see skies like that.

One frac is the Altair 60EDF for imaging and the other is a Altair 50mm guide scope ?

I've had a lot of fun over the past week with the SA - some struggles tonight (posted elsewhere here) with a dew shield but it made me laugh ?

Those pictures you posted are stunning - I'd love to see skies like that. Dark site hunting is a side effect of night sky addiction. ? Im glad u like them.

One frac is the Altair 60EDF for imaging and the other is a Altair 50mm guide scope ? R u using a DSLR or CCD cam ?  Use a Reducer/Flattner with Altair 60EDF.

I've had a lot of fun over the past week with the SA - some struggles tonight (posted elsewhere here) with a dew shield but it made me laugh ?. Struggles , Cable USB horror, Mosquito  Draculas pretty much a never ending story  of this hobby.  Some say in Pain begins the Pleasure?cheers Rush
