Using a wireless remote control.

Recommended Posts

I have a Nikon D5100 DSLR camera and all the necessary attachments to take close up photos of the Moon through my Celestron NexStar 4se telescope, but with the camera in manual mode what camera settings do I need to use the wireless remote control from Nikon to take photos of the Moon ? thank you.   Fred

I have an older D40X. The option to use the remote control is activated by changing the shooting mode in the menu to remote shooting, either immediately or retarded. I do not know if this applies to your model though. Hope this helps.
