First attempt at raw data

A couple of hours in the Ob's last night, and best part of today processing,and these are the results. I think I'm beginning to make some kind of progress.

All at 30" exposure's at Iso 400.

M27 totals 47 mins

M13=8 mins

M16=8 mins

Great results for such short subs, great detail in M27.

Excellent results, I especially like the M27 image, you can see the extra subs giving less noise in the image. Can't wait to see the next batch. Well done.

Not bad for your 1st attempts at shooting in RAW......I like the M13 and M27 and detail is starting to show on M16 as well.......

I would recommend you bump up your ISO to 800 as a minimum setting though

Nice work! Very tight focus on M13. A good crack at M16 with the DSLR and a very good M27

I'm very jealous your M27! I did 71 shots at 45secs and it's no where near as good as your image - what's your secret?

No DVD Trev, but lots of mellow jazz by Monty Sunshine and Pete Fountain.

You are right about the coffee though.

Yeah, Ive checked the ropes are nice and tight just in case.

Don't know about secrets,more like luck I think,still don't know much about successful processing..

I did make use of 47mins worth of stock dark frames,maybe that helped.
