Have you tried the Tak yet?   :icon_biggrin:

I have Peter yes, and on Jupiter the C9.25 was much nicer. That's not always the case but the seeing is excellent tonight so the view is lovely. Lovely detail and colour.

Saturn was looking nicer in the Tak earlier but I will try it out again in a few minutes. I was getting dewed up so had to put the heaters on full whack to clear the corrector. Need to get myself a decent Dewshield if I hang on to this scope.

@John, I had a look when it was down low and still saw some detail, will try again in a few mins. When are you going to out is out of our suspense over your Tak? I have a sneaky suspicion you quite like it? ???

I don't know the scope well enough to write much about it yet. I've had 4 sessions with it under fairly challenging viewing conditions. Tonight was probably the best so far. Yes, I quite like it

Good stuff John.

I took your advice on Mars, lovely stuff. The results were better in the Tak than the SCT, nice sharp image up to x250 which was all I could manage with what I've got here.
