Lunt solar scope arrived - sorry if the sun goes away!

Apologies if the sun vanishes for a while - my new Lunt arrived and is now unboxed and ready for use - hoping for some sun this afternoon. 

I got the skytee 2 so I can have the TV85 alongside with the Baader wedge. It'll be interesting to compare viewing through both scopes.

That is top notch. What made U go for the Lunt against say a Coronado SolarMax II 90 .

Very nice scope, I have resisted the temptation for a HA scope for some time but threads like this make it hard.

That's one super solar scope, it's not only made it cloudy it's made most of the HA activity disappear

I read the various reviews and chatted with a couple of retailers. Clearly SGL posts are also very helpful in decision making, or at least in forming new questions during the process of considering a new scope. 

I concluded that Lunt seems to be the superior product and certainly seems the more popular manufacturer. I went for this model as I will add the double stack at some point soon and hopefully end up with the ideal blend of function in a reasonable price and size.
