new scope great, but laptop wont accept image from camera

Hey all, just want to say how impressed i am with the celestron nexstar 8se, amazing images although still getting used to it, we have the neximage 5 camera but sadly cant use it through my laptop because of the AMD chip, looks like i shall be using my DSLR for now, anyone else had this issue

Odd.... peripheral devices should work regardless of the CPU in the machine, Its usually down to the operating system or drivers (assuming your current CPU meets the minimum speed requirements).

Should work in Windows XXX, as far as I'm aware the original one was just a tarted up Toucam.

It should run using the supplied software which is a MS DirectX  App so no excuse for not working in Windows.
