Mercury Transit Event - TAC - Forecast is 100% Clear !!!!!

The Astronomy Centre ( nr Todmorden, Lancashire ) is open from 11am tomorrow (and into the night if you want to stay on!) for the transit of Mercury.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is 100% clear at the current time.

There is ample room to set up your own equipment and an image will be shown live in the main dome on a screen in white light.  There will also be H Alpha equipment, but bear in mind that the owners themselves will be using them at key moments to observe and image the event.
