That's interesting. So you've managed to get a good milky-way despite the orange clouds. Light pollution from Eastbourne?

What was it like visually for comparison?

Yes, I think the light pollution was coming from Eastbourne. I can see the orange color from east. I live in Surry near London, so I think this is the best place where I can drive to within 2 hour for shooting milky-way.

Yeah, I got there in the mid-night and took more than 3 hours. It was 5am in the morning when I was back home :)

Was that quite a wide lens 24mm or so?

 

I used 16mm lens. The first pic which I attached was processed with 6 photos in Lightroom. I don't have fish-eye lens, it is hard to take the super wide photo:)
