has anyboody used this site in November? I was thikning I might see if I can go the week before it shuts for the season just to see what it is like.

Hi Owen. I'm not sure on a personal level, but the the SWAG has used the site mid October. We had some great clear nights, and of course the with the fewer (civilian) campers the less chance of unwanted lights.

There are pitches still available for caravans at our star party Sept/Oct, and you are more than welcome to join us.

Unfortunately that clashes with Kelling Heath star party and I will be there. It used to be OK when it was in October bu the SHL star party taking that date means I will look elsewhere.
