Hi everyone im currently imaging with my atik 16hr and a 200mm super takumar (narrowband) which gives me a nice wide view but im not sure how to make under sampling look nice.(square blobbly stars and quite grainy?)

Am i doomed for mosaics with a longer focal length ? Or is there some settings j can tweak to get decent data?

I really enjoy this wide field fast setup so hopefully there is a solution

Thanks

Matt

You could try selecting the stars and giving them a slight blur. I've done this when undersampled with the focally reduced Baby Q. (To select stars you can follow Martin B's tutorial on here or use Noel's Actions.)
