SoHO Viewer

Hi,

I have an App installed on my iPad called SoHO Viewer. This apps gives 8 up to date images of the Sun. I use it daily to watch Sun spots etc.

I will be using it to watch the progress of Mercury during Monday 9th May transit in the afternoon.

The good news is that it will be a bright sunny day with the temperature 22 C in Hertfordshire area according to the BBC Weather forecast.

Well, well......

SoHO Viewer had an image of the Sun at 10:30am on Monday 9th May, but no images as Mercury transmitted the Sun...... Shame

Kings Langley had hazy clouds at the start and rain at the end. Saw Mercury three times, last sighting was when it had nearly reached the halfway mark.

I think I will move house to the East of the country north of York to get better skies.
