Skywatcher 150pds vs 200pds

Hello. I'm in a little dilemma. I'm thinking of getting a new OTA to go on my Celestron CG-5 GT Mount. I'm worried about the weight of the 200pds so I'm looking for help to decide which one. The 150pds is £209 and the 200pds is £285. I mainly do observing but like to dabble with astrophotography. What do you recommend given the mount I have? Many thanks.

The stated weight load one of your mount can handle is 35lbs. You should always knock a few pounds off this limit so you won't have it running at it's limit - especially true if you'll be loading more things, like cameras, etc, on to it as well.

So you need to find out the weight of the 200mm telescope you're looking at. Go from there.
