Maxim DL v6 and SBIG STT-8300

Anybody use Maxim DL v6 and a dual chip SBIG camera (STT-8300)?   I am having trouble imaging with the imaging chip and simultaneously guiding with the guide chip.  Anyone familiar with this?

Camera setup as far as I know should be set to SBIG universal and guide chip checked on camera 1

In Maxim DL v6, there is no box to check for guide chip for camera 1.  There is a box for guide chip to be set to internal or external. There is a box for Dual chip camera to be checked.

Yes that is the box as far as I am aware. When checked it disables the second camera setup I believe. Sorry I can't be of any more help but I am sure there will be others along shortly. Best of luck.
