First go at 2 nights worth

Here's my M82/81 effort over 2 nights. Total 3 1/2 hours of 5 mins at ISO 800. Dithered and processed in DSS and PS. Not done a huge amount to it. What do you think?

Nice one. Looks great as it is but there are some nice colours in both galaxies if you play with the saturation curves a little. Nice low noise background too as a result of ISO800, decent exposure times and dithering.

As Richard has said, really nice (quiet) background. It looks a touch red to me but theres every chance thats my monitor. Be sure to keep all your data as you can keep piling on the data

It is a bit red but I'm never sure how to correct that in Ps? Any tips?

if you open a histogram and select only the red channel and carefuly adjust either the blackpoint if theres enough room so as not to clip the graph otherwise, adjust the mid point

Not that my opinion is to be trusted, but the first thought in my head is 'pretty', nice composition, nice sharp stars (to my eyes anyway). I like the detail in M82's core.
