This is a surprise, and I don't know how it does it, but if you batch process in PIPP, then stack in AS!2, Registax appears to keep an 'eye' on the folder being used by AS!2.

I RGB align the saves from AS!2 in registax, and if I leave it open, when I go to Registax the latest AS!2 file is open, and the previous one has disappeared! I'm not sure if this would happen if the previous file is unsaved. It does speed things up a bit.
