Daylight Jupiter

Recommended Posts

I've been doing the same - no Wixey but Jupiter was not too difficult to find in relation to the moons position.

The contrast of the belts and GRS was really good with some light still left in the sky :icon_biggrin:

As you rotate the eyepiece with the polarizer attached it will darken the "sky" and enhance the contrast on Jupiter. I use it frequently for this use and on the moon in daylight. Its effect fades as darkness approaches. Try one if you can Bart, the single polarizer, not the "double" IMHO.
