im at the crossroads re eyepiece/barlow

hi all im at the cross roads and need some advice,i have an ed80 at the minute and just aquired a celestron c8 edge and i am looking to purchase a barlow /eyepiece,mainly wanting to use my d750 dslr,now the ed80 comes with 2"diagonal ect,and the c8 is 1.25",if i go down the 1.25" route with barlows/eyepieces(cheaper)am i loosing out much re the 2",and what are the Meade Series 4000 8 - 24mm Zoom Eyepiece 1.25 like instead of purchasing seperate eyepieces thanks
