Dark and Moody Clavius

Taken on the 17th March, Seeing was worsening,  I was rushing to try and get as many bits as possible. Infact on the last piece, histo was dying  as the clouds were rolling in.

Not ideal lighting to show this crater in all its glory. But I like the long spire type shadows that can only be got under such lighting.

That's a lovely image of Clavius Neil.

I think we're going to be imaging the moon a lot more in the coming years to compensate for poor planetary positions!!

Cheers again. And yes i think lunar imaging will be something that will be getting a lot more attention. Going to have to get a better camera, with a bigger chip. The 618 is a pain
