April 13, 2016: Early morning H-alpha view

Recommended Posts

Managed a short look at the sun this morning. AR 2529 is still going strong, with a lot of plage surrounding it, and a long filament to its west. In the west a small prom can be seen, and eastwards a path of plage has moved away from the limb. It is fairly small, and I am not sure it heralds anything big. Still, interesting sight, and I hope to see how things develop come lunchtime
