M51 M13 & M101 success

Recommended Posts

When I first started taking photos of DSOs I never in my life did I expect to get results like these. A faint fuzzy object was and is pleasing.  Fellow SGL users sent me in the right direction using DSS  and StarTools.

I'd like to thank everyone who has given advice to me over the last months for helping me get these images with a alt az mount and the processing.

I am as they say truly over the moon with them.  They far exceed my expectations.

Nige.

Very nice, well done,

and you can add 2 more faint fuzzies to your basket of galaxies captured :- NGC 5477 (bottom left of M101) and NGC 6207 (left of M13)
