Baader laser collimator repair

Just tried turning my Baader laser collimator on but there is no beam, I tried replacing the batteries but it's still the same. Do you think I can get this repaired or is it time to buy a new one? I don't have any receipt or anything so would need to pay but am just not sure if this is possible?

Did you check the second battery with a voltage meter to make sure that it is not dead, or too low to power the laser first? Might just be a second dead battery.

Nah it's dead, I put in fresh batteries before I went away a couple of weeks ago so was surprised to find there was no laser spot in the first place as it was switched off
