Hi,

How active is the Sun right now? Had a full aperture filter on it (for the first time) this afternoon, but didn't see anything resembling a spot.

The filter does make it look a nice deep orange colour though :sunny:

Not many sunspots at all, but hopefully things will start to change soon. Try checking the left sidebar of spaceweather.com every day to see if there's any activity.

I do tend to get panicky if I look at something & can't see what I'm "expecting" to view & start blaming my scope unjustly.

A bad observational habit, I'll admit :nono: - must grow out of that. :laughing3:
