Clear blues skies first thing this morning. Didn't last long though and rain soon sent me scurrying back indoors. Grabbed these whilst I could!

@xtreemchaos Usual processing from stacked tif using GIMP 2.8 (crop, switch to grey scale and back to RGB, unsharp mask x2, gaussian blur, adjust levels) then invert and apply my usual colour via levels (Red 2.51, Green 1.38, Blue 0.62).

Hi, brought myself a lunt wedge a few months ago and had some success with the sun spots. Your images are very good but tell me how or where did you get the earth scale image in relation to your shot? as it just gives the image that little something. Jay

Many many thanks for the link to a truly amazing site. It never fails to amaze me as to what is out there on the net. How did we manage without it?  At my age I have to say we had lots of fun and discovery before all this tec arrived.
