Tweaking EQMOD Mount (RA) tracking speed?

I appear to have a Yahoo ID and Membership of the EQMOD group
but, for the moment these elude me. In the interim, was wondering
if anyone here has managed to *trivially* change the RA tracking
speed of a mount? Does changing the magic number (15.041067)
do anything? Does the "Custom tracking" button respond to this?
(I see mention of more complex Ephemeridis files loading, but!) ;)

Just looking to introduce small *known* "errors" into the tracking
rate (get objects to slowly drift across field) so I can obtain H-Alpha
"flats" without stopping the mount (Watching the sun whiz by!) :p

Thank you for your (rapid!) response here, Chris. Took time out to revisit
the documentation... And do (enable) some relevant software updates. :)
As ever, my appreciation of your efforts!

If you'll forgive me, I DO still have a question though...

Just having a play with the rate settings (watching mount on CCTV)
But sufficiently convinced by watching the display numbers change!

When I change the numbers in the RA & DEC boxes, and push the
"Comet" button, I do get the (eagerly) anticipated result! But when
I revert to the standard tracking rates, I've lost the "magic numbers"
15.041067 and 0! The preset tracking rates, do still seem sensible?

Just trying to get a better understanding... Are these boxes for
"display purposes only" when using the presets? Did I lose the
magic number(s) above? They don't seem to change between
siderial/lunar/solar rates? Will I get them back sometime etc. ;)

Irritating questions from a kindred "suffering" programmer! :p

P.S. Hadn't noticed before, but you can (of course) WATCH
the effect of changing "custom tracking" in CdC closeup. Yay!

The displayed values are the rates that will be applied to custom tracking only - they serve no other purpose. The values happen to default to sidereal values,  but the values used don't affect any of the other preset rates if you change them and there is really is no need to get them back to the original sidereal values  as you already have a dedicated button that applies sidereal rate.

Chris.
