First bit of imaging for quite some time thanks to the good old UK weather, took these on 15/16/17th March.

Anyhow, 2 hours at ISO 1600 at 1 minute lights plus flats darks and bias, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop CS2.

SW 200P  focal reducer, modded Canon 450D, HEQ5  with EQmod.

weather: bright half moon, high alt thin cloud

thanks for looking, all comments +/- more than welcome.

I love these two old favourites.

Nice detail in the spiral arms.

I like the fact that you took 1 minute subs.

I always try and stretch the exposure time, but seeing this makes me think there is no point.

Stick to shorter subs and maybe get less waste in future.

well you didn,t lose your touch, thats very good for such short exposures, the moon was up, so your always going to fight with the glare, keep them coming,
